Spain was Somewhat of a Pain!
USA Women defeat Spain...
Jane (or Joe) Citizen, watching the morning, evening and nightly news, as well as listening to sports radio would be completely oblivious to the fact that the USA Women even have a team, much less whether they've actually participated in these Summer Games.
What's up with that??? (and by the way, that's a rhetorical question... don't think for a minute that I don't already know the answer... for one thing, they're not playing in swimsuits / bikinis). Although the local and national news is FILLED with Olympic coverage, they don't mention the results of Women's basketball. I think they're probably broadcasting the games, but I'm beginning to think I'll never figure out WHEN!
You've even gotta delve pretty deep in the net to find out who and how much. Or... you can stay tuned here!
